such a wrong wrong time to be loving your SM family, and declaring it to the world. seriously. wrong. time.
a response to a comments thread on a friend's FB wall (which is private), where a grown man defends the Azkals by saying: (1) that the commissioner shouldn't have been in the locker room, (2) that men's locker room banter is what it is and there's no harm in that, and (3) that this didn't seem like harassment because no guy "rubbed his crotch against her thigh."

simple ang usapin KUNG babasahin ang complaint ni Commissioner Cristy Ramos. she didn't only have a right to be in the Azkal's locker room, it was her responsibility to be there to do the pre-match inspection. locker room banter SHOULD HAVE STOPPED the moment she entered PRECISELY because she is a sports commissioner doing a professional task. she had given time for the Azkals to prepare for her presence in that locker room, given them time to gather themselves and GET DRESSED.
there is no excuse for any of the football players to have appeared in his underwear, no excuse for any one of them standing beside her and talking about her cup size as if it were a punchline to a running joke. NO EXCUSE FOR THE REST OF THAT TEAM TO HAVE LAUGHED AT COMMISSIONER RAMOS' EXPENSE.
i guess none of that is like a guy rubbing his crotch against my thigh. but it seems you don't know what it's like to be harassed BY WORDS, you don't know how sexual harassment is always about hitting the woman at her most vulnerable. when you condone the Azkals' behavior -- ALL OF THEM WHO STOOD BY TO WATCH THIS HAPPEN -- then you are condoning exactly the behavior that endangers ALL women.
